There is also a new outdoor ice skating rink built along Wisconsin Avenue, a road on the way to Big Mountain.
The ice was chewed up and choppy during a skate one Saturday morning in late December.
Since then, the town has brought in a Zamboni machine to smooth the ice on a regular basis.
Snowmobiles have the run of 230 miles of designated wilderness paths behind Big Mountain.
