Upon selection of the rules, the program ran multiple simulations and then averaged the outcome to determine the magnitude of the house blackjack expected value />The Result and Conclusion During the study, it was realized that with more hands played, the expected value increased.

Based on the study, a player can play up to 100 rounds per hour and the simulation measured the expected value as per 100 rounds.

Taking a six-decker game for instance, the typical house edge is 0.

It was also noted that rules of games could affect their expected values.

Where a surrender and double are removed from the rules after splitting but the bet spread is maintained.

This shows that taking away those rules which favored the player reduced the expected value by 18%.

The information above contains the expected value for two different games.

With the games see more several variations in their rules and combined spread bets, there are numerous possibilities for what an expected value will be for a card counting player.
